Robert Akoto Amoafo is a Certified Trainer and Human Rights Advocate with 10 years’ experience in Ghana and abroad. Robert was the Country Director at Amnesty International from January 2018 to January 2021. He has also worked as a Communications Advisor to the Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection of Ghana, served as the Technical Advisor on the HIV Continuum of Care Project at FHI 360 and worked as the Executive Director at Human Rights Advocacy Centre. He currently serves as the President of the Alliance for Equality and Diversity, Board Chair of 3 organisations: Solace Initiative, Hope Alliance Foundation and OHF Initiative in Ghana. Robert holds a Master of Philosophy, Human Rights, and Democratisation in Africa from the University of Pretoria (South Africa).

Ben Brown is a Freelance Communication Consultant with experience and expertise in technical, proposal and content writing, research, business profiling, rapporteuring as well as project management. Ben’s experience is based on extensive work with private sector actors and institutions in the communication, project management, and advocacy space including Rotary International, 89 Strategy, HAF, Ghana Heroes Project, Piron Global Development, among others. He has worked as a fellow for Lead for Ghana where he applied innovative teaching methods to encourage student-learning objectives in Mathematics and English Language. As a trained mental health advocate with the Ghana Youth Movement for Mental Health, Ben creates awareness on mental health issues and offers mental health first aid to the youth. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Journalism.
